Do it for the kids!

Updated: Oct 21, 2021

It is hard to believe that October is just around the corner and kids have been back to school for a month already!

Getting back to school can be an exciting time, however, for some children it can bring anxiety or fear. Children may have trouble processing instructions, organizing their thoughts, and figuring out the steps it takes to get homework done. NeurOptimal® works for students of all age ranges, children and young adults, in grade school to college level students. NeurOptimal neurofeedback sessions aim to train the brain to function more calmly and ultimately more efficiently. Children who have NeurOptimal sessions see improvements in grades, ability to maintain focus in class, have better organization and task planning, and more.

Parents looking for safe and effective support systems to help their children with school performance increasingly turn to NeurOptimal neurofeedback especially since it is a safe and non-invasive form of brain training.

Benefits for children using NeurOptimal may include:

ATTENTION: Improved attention, focus and how much information children can absorb. NeurOptimal is particularly important for students who struggle with ADD or ADHD, as it minimizes the possibility of distraction.

MEMORY: NeurOptimal can improve memory by enhancing the brain’s ability to absorb and hold information for easier recall. For children who struggle with tests and exams, NeurOptimal can strengthen the child’s ability to focus during tests, promoting better test outcome.

ANXIETY: When it comes to school performance, anxiety can be crippling and have a negative impact on their performance. Training the brain to function calmly and effectively will reduce anxiety levels, setting a student up for success.

IMPROVED MOOD: When the brain is functioning more calmly depression symptoms often decline and/or disappear. People who have had NeurOptimal sessions often have a sense of peace, calm and a lighter, happier mood.

LEARNING DISABILITY IMPROVEMENT: School can be much more difficult when children have learning disabilities such as ADHD or ADD. Certain tasks may take longer and may not register as easily. NeurOptimal works to reduce the symptoms of learning disabilities to ensure for better success.

IMPROVED SLEEP: Getting a good night’s sleep is an essential part of living a successful life, and this is especially true for children. When children do not get enough sleep or quality sleep, it can result in the child not performing at their best. NeurOptimal can improve sleep, including making it easier for the child to fall asleep, stay asleep, and get the quality of sleep needed to have a successful following day.

Parents and teachers often notice the benefits children have with NeurOptimal more than the children do. This is particularly true for young children as their self-reporting abilities are limited. Common shifts parents report is stronger ability to focus on tasks, improved performance, improved management of stress, getting along better with siblings & peers, and improved sleep. Even though parents may have specific goals, such as improving grades or minimizing performance anxiety, they also tend to see unexpected benefits. Many parents report their child getting their backpacks together on their own, finishing their homework without being reminded and thinking ahead to be more organized.

NeurOptimal neurofeedback is safe and non-invasive. Dynamical neurofeedback works as a precisely timed feedback system through micro-interruptions in music that trigger the brain's natural self-improvement system. There is no risk in using NeurOptimal on children because it optimizes every brain's performance without forcing change.

Can you imagine how all the basic skills mentioned above would flourish if your child were able to respond and adjust more quickly and effectively? Who wouldn’t want that for their child?

I look forward to joining you and your child on your journey to optimal brain performance.
